Adler

Tiger and Adler quickly became best friends.

The Neighborhood Favorite

Fair to All

I have a story to share about a ginger chubby cat who recently moved into MY condo in Carmel, Indiana and gained a new furry friend, ME!

My Bestie, whose name is Tiger

Has been with me for a year. He’s always been a bit on the heavy side, but I never minded. He’s a sweet and affectionate cat, and I love him just the way he is.

About Us

For as long as I can remember, a condo in Carmel, Indiana has been my home. I was worried about how Tiger would adjust to living in a smaller space than he was used to, but he took to it surprisingly well. He found his favorite spots to nap, including a cozy armchair in the living room on which I called dibs years before.

One day, I decided to adopt a dog named Adler. Adler is a friendly and energetic Australian Shepherd mix, and I thought he and Whiskers would get along well. However, I was a bit nervous about introducing them, especially given Whiskers’ tendency to be territorial.

To my surprise, the two animals hit it off immediately. Adler was curious about Whiskers, but he respected her space when she needed it. Whiskers, for her part, seemed to enjoy having a new companion. They would play together, with Whiskers batting at Adler’s tail and Adler chasing her around the condo.

I was thrilled to see them getting along so well. It was heartwarming to watch them cuddle up together on the couch, Whiskers purring contentedly while Adler nuzzled her with his nose.

Of course, there were some adjustments to be made. Whiskers was used to having free reign of the condo, and she wasn’t sure what to make of Adler’s more boisterous nature. But with a little patience and training, Adler learned to respect Whiskers’ boundaries, and Whiskers learned to be more comfortable around him.

Now, Whiskers and Adler are the best of friends. They love to play together, cuddle together, and even groom each other. Watching them together has brought so much joy into my life, and I’m grateful to have them both in my home.

In conclusion, if you’re considering introducing a new pet into your household, don’t be afraid to take the plunge. With a little patience and understanding, animals can learn to coexist and even become the best of friends. And if you’re lucky, you might just get to witness some heartwarming moments like I have with Whiskers and Adler.
